Canyonlands Presentation & more

David brings his wonderful visual program "CANYONLANDS of Arizona and Utah" to the Joshua Tree Astronomy Arts Theater on this dark sky Saturday night.  "Hurricane" David performs as well as talented musician Clive Wright.  The Southern California Desert Video Astronomers will also project real time celestial images on their three large screens.  Lots going on here.  Make it a long night.  Canyonlands goes on at 8 p.m. and "Hurricane" follows.  Bring your seating and refreshments for this event.  This is a fundraiser for the Morongo Valley Art Colony and there is a $5 suggested donation for this event.   Just added... John Dobson (inventor of the Dobsonian telescope) will give a short talk prior to the Canyonlands presentation!  Should be great fun... This all takes place at Joshua Tree Lake... 2601 Sunfair Road, in Joshua Tree
